I'm sorry for the delay but finally here it is an english translation (made by freghet :ginocchio: ) of the general informations about Nordschleife 8h.

TRACK
The track chosen for this event is the ADAC 24H.

MOD
Only GT2 class cars available. Compared to the models used at Paul Ricard, only the Aston Martin benefits of some changes: aerodynamic improvements and weight distribution.

TIMETABLE
Qualifications are held as usual and open to all, which means: H24 from 00:00 February the 13th to 23:59 February the 20th.
Every drivers of each crew can participate, the grid will be determined by the fastest of each team.
Each crew is free to independently choose the driver who stand up on the grid as well as the following swapping order during the race.
The strategy is of course always free (each team can swap driver as many time as wanted, the hot swap is forbidden making the swap procedure only possible during pit stop).
Replay of the fastest hotlap of each crew has to be sent, by 23.59 Thursday the 23rd, to the following email: gtitalia.org@gmail.com
The race will start Saturday, February 25 at 17:00 but the drivers of each team doing the first stint must be on the server no later than 16:30.

STARTING RULES
The startup mode is described in Endurance rules. The only specific exception for this race is that the "full lap at slow speed" will NOT last for 1 lap of the whole Nordschleife, but will only be held around the new track. The drivers will turn left into the old track right away, NOT completing the entire lap of the new track. Once turned into the old track the race will effectively start.

PITSTOP
Unlike the 2-hour races, it is allowed going into the pit as soon as you leave the old ring and enter the new circuit, the pitlane is on the right. This eliminates the need of making the full lap of the new circuit before the pit.

TEST EVENT
Next Thursday, the 23rd at 21.30, two or three test races (up 20 to 30 minutes long) are scheduled for practicing driver swaps, starting rules and pointing out any kind of problem.

Setup sharing for drivers of the same crew

First off make your own setup for the event. It has to be the same exact setup for all the crew members, so make sure all team mates agree it is definitive for the race. The only things that can personally changed are the steering lock and brake pressure/balance. It must be renamed as reported in the ".gdb" track file (under the track folder, open it with notepad), next to this line "SettingsAI =".
In this case the file is "Ring_24h.gdb" and the setup name "nos.svm". If you rename it in rFactor, just write "nos". Then click the "assign" button from the setup page. This way you created a default setup, so the right setup will be assigned to the user coming in the server as spectator.

Important: make also sure all crew drivers have the same car livery and the setup is available for that livery too, otherwise save it again and overwrite to make it available, then press "assign" again.
This setup has to be the only one in the folder, so delete all the others.
All team members can freely choose among the different ffb upgrades, but if one use the realfeel plugin (and so the realfeel upgrade) all others drivers must use the same plugin/upgrade.
